Terms & Conditions

Here at LianaMXWStudio LLC, our team is happy to help make your visions become reality.  However, we do ask that you read our terms and conditions when hiring our services, not only for our protection, but also for yours.  For questions regarding these terms and conditions, please feel free to contact us on our contact page.

​​Privacy

- When filling out our forms, the information we request is for our use only when regarding our business exchange/s with the client.  Client information will be kept private and will not be sold to other parties.  It is strictly for our use only to be utilized and referenced when pertaining to business.  (For more information, please view Wix.com's detailed privacy statements.)

Booking

Consultations

- When booking a consultation with us, the time allotted per session is an hour with a 30min buffer time.  If you would like more time, please book multiple sessions or contact us directly to set up the times, payment, and terms.

- Usually consultations will take place in person at our studio or in a video chat via Zoom or Google Duo.

Timing

- When you book with us, some services are timed services (i.e. amount of hours of photography coverage, amount hours of music, etc.).  The member/s of our team needed for the service/s you book for your event will arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow for necessary set up and preparation.  Note that the time we show up early for this prep will not be charged to you.

- The agreed upon amount of time that you have enlisted our timed service/s to provided (i.e. how many hours of music to be provided, how many hours of photography coverage, etc.) will be clearly outlined in the booking confirmation/details, invoice, and contract between our team and you and are to be adhered to and respected by both parties as long as the situation allows it.  For situations with circumstances that result in more or less time than what was originally booked, please read next sections.

Overtime

- We realize that events aren't always predictable and that sometimes situations require more of our time than originally planned and agreed upon.  If overtime is possible for our team member/s' schedule, we would be happy to accommodate the extra time needed.  Any and all overtime will result in additional charges based on an overtime hourly rate and a payment due date that will already be agreed on and outlined in the booking confirmation/details, invoice, and contract between our team and you signed by both parties.

Unused Time

- If there is any remaining portion of the agreed upon allotted time booked in which our services end up not being utilized, that time will not be refunded.  (For example, if the client books our photography service for up to eight hours of coverage but the photographer is told that their service is no longer needed and only seven hours have been covered, no refund will be issued for that unused hour).

* The reason we do not refund unused time is because the agreed upon amount of time that you booked our services for means that we dedicate that entire time to your event and if there is an amount of time that ends up not being used, while it may seem like we got to do less work, it's actually detrimental to us and our business because that was an amount of time that we could've allotted to another event and booked with another client.

​Payments

Booking/Retainer Fee

- When booking one or more of our services, a flat-rate, non-refundable, booking fee will be charged when a client books a service. This fee reserves the date/time for your event in our calendar.   Details of the rest of the payment, scheduled timing of service, and all other terms of the service/s will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties either during the consultation or over an exchange of emails and included in the contract between our team and you.

Payment for Service/s

- The remaining balance of the total price for our service/s enlisted for your event will be due no later than the number of days before the date of the event stated in the contract between our team and you signed by both parties.

Cancellations

- We understand that things happen and you may decide to cancel with us.  As stated before, retainers for any and all services will not be refunded.  If you would like to cancel, please email us stating that you would like to do so.  Cancellations over the phone or in person will be followed up immediately with an email stating that the cancellation has been confirmed.

Refunds

-All refunds will be dealt with in a case-to-case manner discussed and outlined in the contract.
